WhatsApp DP download by number: get the format right

Most failed searches come from a wrongly typed number. WhatsApp identifies every account by the full international number, so the country code has to be there.

  • Start with the country code: 1 for the US and Canada, 44 for the UK, 91 for India, 92 for Pakistan, 234 for Nigeria, 55 for Brazil.
  • Don’t type a plus sign, spaces, dashes, or brackets.
  • Drop the zero at the start of the local number. A Pakistani number written as 0300 1234567 becomes 92 300 1234567, typed as 923001234567.

Why a WhatsApp profile picture may not show up
